We invite you to join us July 14-17, 2027, in sunny Orlando, Florida at the Caribe Royale Orlando Resort.
PWSA | USA's United in Hope National PWS Convention will provide exciting opportunities to learn, connect (and reconnect), and hear about the latest in PWS research and care. This world-class event will include Medical & Scientific, Professional Providers, and Family Conferences, as well as PWS and Sibling Camps for infants through adults, and their siblings.
New this year, we are excited to introduce a two-day Adults with PWS Conference track running concurrently with the Family Conference. This experience is designed specifically for individuals with Prader-Willi syndrome, creating a dedicated space for learning, connection, and engagement with topics relevant to adulthood.
Whether you have a loved one with PWS, are a professional provider, a physician, clinician or scientist, the 2027 convention has something for everyone.

Medical & Scientific Conference
When: Wednesday, July 14 - Thursday, July 15, 2027
The Medical & Scientific Conference brings together clinicians, scientists, researchers, and medical professionals from across disciplines for two days of collaboration, discovery, and progress. Attendees share groundbreaking ideas, report on the latest advances, and engage in meaningful dialogue all in service of our ever-present mission: To support the research that will unlock effective treatments and improve the quality of life for individuals living with PWS. This is where science meets purpose, and where the future of PWS care takes shape.
While this conference is primarily designed for medical and scientific professionals, parents, guardians, and other interested attendees are welcome to join as observers. When registering, please select the "Medical and Scientific (for students and parents) & Family Conferences" option to ensure you are registered correctly.
We will also host a Medical & Scientific Conference Poster Reception on Wednesday, July 14, 2027, for all Medical & Scientific Conference attendees to join. More details, including the location and time, will be shared soon.
Professional Providers Conference
When: Wednesday, July 14 - Thursday, July 15, 2027
The Professional Providers Conference brings together educational, social services, and residential professionals for a dynamic exchange of knowledge, experience, and expertise. Attendees collaborate to explore identified best practices and standard of care approaches, while engaging in critical, solution-oriented discussions led by leading experts in the field. This unique in-person experience offers providers the opportunity to tackle real-world challenges, share innovative strategies, and walk away with practical tools to better support the individuals with PWS in their care. This conference is only for professional providers to attend.
Family Conference
When: Friday, July 16 - Saturday, July 17, 2027
The two-day Family Conference is created specifically for parents, caregivers, family members, and supporters of a loved one with PWS. The attendees are skillfully guided through a choice of multiple learning tracks covering an array of topics that can be tailored to their individual preferences. It is a time to build relationships with other families, attend educational sessions, learn about PWS from top specialists, and have fun.
Experts in the field provide attendees with up-to-date information and resources for addressing the very complex needs of supporting and caring for an individual diagnosed with PWS.
NEW IN 2027: Two-Day Adults with PWS Conference

PWSA | USA is pleased to offer a dedicated Adults with PWS Conference Track as part of the 2027 Family Conference. This is a full two‑day experience designed specifically for individuals with Prader-Willi syndrome, creating space for learning, connection, and engagement with topics relevant to adulthood.

A full schedule with session times, speakers, and descriptions will be shared closer to the start of the convention.
Participants who would like to attend the Adults Track should select the "Adults with PWS Conference (Family Conference)" option when registering for the convention. This track is integrated within the overall conference and offers a structured schedule of sessions across both days.
The majority of sessions will be presented in a lecture-style format, with opportunities for discussion and interaction woven throughout. Select sessions will be fully interactive, offering participants the chance to actively engage, share perspectives, and build skills in a supportive group setting.
While parents and caregivers are welcome to attend alongside their loved one, they are not required to do so. This track is designed to support independence and personal engagement. At the same time, it is important to note that PWSA | USA staff and presenters will not be responsible for ensuring that participants remain in sessions, transition between sessions, or are otherwise supervised throughout the day.
Please also be aware that while food will not be permitted inside the conference room, unattended food may be present in hallways and common areas near the conference space. Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring their loved one's food safety throughout the day, including safe navigation of these shared spaces. Additionally, parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring their loved one's safe transportation to and from the convention lunch.
Individuals who register for the Adults Track should have the skills and readiness to participate within this setting, including:
- The ability to attend sessions for extended periods
- The ability to engage respectfully in a group environment
- The ability to navigate the conference setting independently or with planned support
This structure allows us to create an environment that respects both autonomy and safety while ensuring a meaningful experience for all participants.
We are only accepting 75 adults living with PWS to attend this conference.
IMPORTANT: The Adults with PWS Conference runs concurrent with the PWS Camps. You and your loved one will have to decide if they prefer to attend the PWS Adventure Camp or the Adults with PWS Conference. They won't be allowed to switch from the Adults with PWS Conference to the Adventure Camp at any point during the convention.
Important Information About Registering Your Loved One for the Adults with PWS Conference:
- A separate email address is required for their registration. If your loved one doesn't have one, you'll need to create one on their behalf. The registration system simply requires a unique email for each attendee.
- Mobile App access: By registering for the conference, your loved one will have access to the 2027 Convention Mobile App. As their parent or caregiver, we want you to be aware that if they have their own mobile device, they will be able to access the app during the convention.

Friday Night Convention Events (July 16, 2027)
Hope Lights the Night Glow Party - FREE
When: Friday, July 16, 2027 | 7 - 9 PM
Where: Caribe Royale Orlando Grand Sierra Ballroom (Rooms E & D)
What: A free glow party for all convention participants to attend
Get ready to light up the night at Hope Lights the Night, our 2027 convention glow party celebration! Join us for an evening filled with music, dancing, laughter, and unforgettable memories as we come together to celebrate the strength, joy, and spirit of our PWS community.
Suggested attire: Neon clothes to match the theme, or feel free to dress up however you like. There's no specific dress code required to attend.
Food & drinks: Dinner will not be provided at the Glow Party, so we encourage everyone to eat beforehand. A cash bar will be available throughout the event.
Please note: Hope Lights the Night Glow Party is a completely separate event from the Night Under the Stars Gala (details below), though the two will take place at the same time. You're welcome to bring your loved one(s) to the Glow Party with you, or register them for the Night Under the Stars Gala instead.
A Night Under the Stars Gala (7 years and up)
When: Friday, July 16, 2027 | 6 - 8:30 p.m.
Where: Caribe Royale Orlando | Caribbean Rooms 1-4
What: A party for individuals living with PWS and their siblings aged 7 and older who are registered for the Sibling Camp, Adventure Camp, or the Adults with PWS Conference
A Night Under the Stars Gala is a special celebration for individuals living with PWS and their siblings ages 7 and up. Held in its own dedicated room, the evening includes dinner, a DJ, dancing, and other fun activities for a truly memorable night!
What a Night Under the Stars Gala ticket includes: Dinner, DJ & dancing, and other fun activities! Please note: Dinner is included for individuals with PWS and siblings ages 7+ with a ticket. Dinner is not included for parents.

- PWS Adventure Camp attendees
- Sibling Camp attendees
What to wear: While there's no required dress code, most individuals choose to dress up for the evening. Think cocktail or semi-formal attire! Ultimately, they can wear whatever makes them feel their best.
For parents: For parents whose loved one(s) will attend the Night Under the Stars Gala, we encourage you to relax, grab dinner on your own, mingle with other families and community members, and head over to the Glow Party, held from 7-9 PM in a separate room nearby! At 8:30 PM, you can pick your loved one up from the Night Under the Stars Gala and bring them to the glow party for the last 30 minutes of the event.
Youth and Adult Camps
Little Tikes Camp
For ages: 24 months and younger (at time of convention)
When: Friday, July 16 - Saturday, July 17, 2027
(For individuals living with PWS and their siblings) The Little Tikes Camp will provide infant and toddler care to children 6-weeks to 24-months of age. During Little Tikes Camp, your loved one will be cared for by staff that have worked in either the healthcare or childcare fields. There will be a variety of age-appropriate activities, along with quiet rest times throughout the day. This camp is available to children with and without PWS.

Adventure Camp
For ages: 7 years and older (born before July 2020)
When: Friday, July 16 - Saturday, July 17, 2027
(For individuals living with PWS ONLY) The Adventure Camp will provide two days of fun and exciting structured activities for individuals with PWS who are seven years and older. Campers will be in groups with others their age and supported by staff that are experienced and trained in caring for individuals with PWS. Rest assured that while you are attending conference, your loved one will be having fun participating in activities that range from music and movement to building birdhouses, all while making new friends in a safe and structured two days of camp.

Junior Adventure Camp - SOLD OUT
For ages: 2 - 6 years old (at time of convention)
When: Friday, July 16 - Saturday, July 17, 2027
(For individuals living with PWS and their siblings) The Junior Adventure Camp will provide fun and entertaining activities for children ages 2-years to 6-years of age. The volunteer staff working the Junior Adventure Camp either have a background working as care providers for individuals with PWS or as teachers. Rest assured, Junior Adventure Campers will have two fun-filled days of activities while parents attend the conference. Parents can have peace of mind knowing their little one is having fun and making new friends. This camp is available to children with and without PWS.

Sibling Camp - SOLD OUT
For ages: 7 - 12 years old (at time of convention)
When: Friday, July 16 - Saturday, July 17, 2027
The Sibling Camp will provide two fun and exciting days of activities for siblings of individuals with PWS, ages 7-years-old to 12-years-old. This camp will allow your child to participate in numerous activities, make friends with other siblings, and share their experiences. The Sibling Campers may participate in an offsite activity. Information on this will be available soon.

Policies:
- Registration closes after June 30, 2027.
- Cancellations are allowed up to June 30, 2027.
- A $50.00 processing fee will be deducted for all refunds after April 1, 2027, when the Early Bird period expires. This includes program changes.
- Credit card processing fees are not subject to refund.
